This product is a solution containing a large quantity of rabies antibodies. It is prepared from blood plasma from screened donors. Human Rabies Immunoglobulin is given by injection around the wound and into the muscle at the side of the thigh (intramuscular).

This product is a solution containing a large quantity of hepatitis B antibodies. It is prepared from blood plasma from screened donors. Human Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin is given by injection into a muscle (intramuscular) such as the buttock or thigh. Your doctor or nurse will give you the injection.

Human Albumin Biotest 20% is a solution for infusion (into a vein). 1000 ml solution contains 200 g human plasma protein of which at least 95% is human albumin. Human Albumin Biotest 20% is used to restore and maintain circulating blood volume where there is a low blood volume and the use of a colloid, such as albumin, is required.

Hepsera is used to treat chronic hepatitis B, an infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV), in adults. Infection with the hepatitis B virus leads to damage to the liver. Hepsera reduces the amount of the virus in your body, and has been shown to reduce liver damage. Tell your doctor if you have had kidney disease, or if tests have shown problems with your kidneys.
