Amikacin Injection is one of a group of antibiotic medicines called ‘aminoglycosides’. Amikacin Injection is used in the treatment of serious infections caused by bacteria sensitive to amikacin.

AmBisome is an antifungal antibiotic. The active ingredient in AmBisome is amphotericin B. Before you are given AmBisome your doctor will check that your fever is not due to bacteria or viruses.

Ambirix is a vaccine used in infants, children and adolescents from 1 year up to and including 15 years to prevent two infectious diseases: hepatitis A and hepatitis B. The vaccine works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against these infectious diseases.

Altargo is used to treat bacterial infections affecting small areas of skin. Infections that may be treated include impetigo (which causes crusting scabs on infected areas), cuts, grazes and stitched wounds.

Agrippal is a vaccine. This vaccine helps to protect you or your child against influenza (flu), particularly in subjects who run a high risk of associated complications. The use of Agrippal should be based on official recommendations.

ACWY Vax is a vaccine used in children older than 2 years, adolescents and adults to prevent disease caused by the bacteria named” Neisseria meningitidis groups A,C, W135 and Y”. These bacteria are highly contagious and can cause serious and sometimes life-threatening infections such as meningitis (infection around the brain or spinal cord) or septicaemia (blood poisoning).

Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibacterial with actions and uses similar to those of its chlorinated derivative, clindamycin.

Roxithromycin is a macrolide antibacterial with actions and uses similar to those of erythromycin. It is given orally to adults in a usual dose of 150 mg twice daily or sometimes 300 mg once daily, at least 15 minutes before meals, for 5 to 10 days in the treatment of susceptible infections.
